Hello! I got involved in weddings just as my own daughters were getting married. Before that I spent 25 years doing corporate and non profit management and events. I am a very social person, love organizing and I look for the details in everything I do. In my personal life, family is important to me, I am a grandmother, wife, a pet owner and love to travel.

Hey Everyone! I have always wanted to become a Wedding + Event Planner. To me, there is nothing better than seeing creative talents come together to produce incredible experiences for life's most significant moments. I am married to an amazing and funny man and we have two little boys, Forrest and River. I love to travel around the world and I am OBSESSED with my dog Fitzgerald.

KATELYN FREED // Event Coordinator + Administrative Assistant

Hello! I have been doing design and event planning for roughly 5 years and I love what I do. Being able to make connections with someone, bring their vision to life and create an experience that is as unique as they are is the best part of what I do. Outside of work I enjoy fossil hunting (don't knock it until you try it), creating, and hiking! I am also an artist, wife, and mom to my sweet son Oakley.

Amanda and Ava from the Magical Moments team were the best part of our wedding planning! 

From the beginning, Amanda was a kind, calming, and knowledgeable presence who helped us plan our Indianapolis wedding from afar while we were living in Chicago. She was such a pro and we genuinely enjoyed meeting with her to discuss every detail of wedding planning.

We already felt like Amanda was an amazing choice but she really blew us away in the weeks leading up to the wedding and on our wedding weekend. She communicated and confirmed with all of our vendors for us. When we had to make a last minute decision to move our ceremony inside due to rain, we never were worried because we knew Amanda would expertly handle all of the coordination--and she did! We got so many compliments from our family and bridal party about how smooth our rehearsal went due to Amanda's guidance.

We really feel that we could not have had our day without Amanda and Ava effortlessly coordinating behind the scenes and helping with all of the little details you would never think of: holding umbrellas, bringing snacks, fixing hair, ordering pizza, making sure my comfy dancing shoes were at the dinner table ready to be worn--I could go on and on! Because of their help, every member of my family and bridal party could be truly present for the entire day and we did not have to worry about running around to fix last minute details or make sure people were in their correct places. They even packed everything in our car at the end of the night!! Having their help so that all of our loved ones could spend the entire day with us worry free was truly priceless. 

The weirdest thing about wedding planning is spending so much time with your vendors during the planning process and then having to say goodbye in a few minutes at the end of the night at the wedding. We truly felt like Amanda had become a friend throughout our planning process and we will miss her.

In short, we cannot say enough good things about our experience. Thank you Amanda and Ava and the Magical Moments squad!!
